Associate Initiative Officer Janelle Coronado leads ReWork’s communications work including convenings and manages key ReWork relationships including the Equity at Work Council and other partners. Janelle joined the ReWork the Bay team in 2023 having served foundations, public officials, and grass roots community organizations for over 10 years. She has played key roles at the East Bay Community Foundation, served as a Fellow for San Francisco’s Board Supervisor Shamann Walton’s Office (District 10), and supported the San Francisco Latino Task Force as an Executive Assistant and Special Projects Lead. More recently, Janelle consulted with San Francisco local organizations in education and poverty relief, providing recruitment, capacity building, labor/management collaboration, and administrative support. Janelle received her bachelor’s degree in International Relations, with a focus on human rights and economic development.
